Signing In, Signing Out, and Security
Signing in
You can sign in with email and password, or through a connected provider (Google, Yandex — what’s available depends on which domain you’re signing in through). Email registration requires confirming your address: a link is sent to your inbox, and you can’t sign in until you follow it.
Forgot your password
There’s a “Forgot password?” link on the sign-in page. Enter your email: if an account exists for it, you’ll get a link to set a new password. If no account exists for that address, the page answers exactly the same way — that’s deliberate, so the recovery form can’t be used to check whether a given address is registered.
Signing out
Settings → “Sign out” ends your current session. Sign out everywhere ends every one of your sessions at once, including the current one — you’ll need to sign in again. Useful if you’ve signed in from a device you no longer use.
Your workspace
Registering gives you your own, isolated workspace right away — your servers, agents, connections and projects aren’t visible to anyone except the people you’ve invited into it.
Server-connection safety
Servers Neo connects to on your behalf are checked after their name resolves to an address: connections to localhost, private and internal ranges (including cloud metadata addresses) are refused outright, and connection errors are always reported in a generic way, so they can’t be used to probe your internal network.
